They called you.

Frontenac, I love you all. I seriously do. Every day you remind me that there is kindness, there is decency, and there is compassion in this world.

Yesterday a member of our community called me. I've known her a long time and could hear the strain in her voice immediately. She told me about people she cared about whose lives had been turned upside down due to medical issues.

Then she said, “I didn't know how to help. What to do. So I called you.”

What she meant was, she called YOU. She may have phoned HF but she knew that all we are is an organized community billboard.

She called her hometown. You. For one of our own.

And like always, Frontenac answered. A go fund me with only a few hundred dollars before posting now has over two thousand. Will it fix the medical hellscape this family is in? No, probably not. But it will give them breathing room, and it will remind them how loved they are.

I am so proud of this town, of the people in it, of the spirit of community and love that we all walk with. Thank you Frontenac Friends. - Keesh
